Awards and Achievements

The Honourable Company encourages and recognises achievements in Gloucestershire’s communities and businesses, from apprenticeships to the arts, sport to education, community development to heritage skills.

A donation was made to the Three Choirs Festival to fund the formation of a new choir, and a substantial investment lodged with Gloucestershire Community Foundation Grassroots fund. Other donations have been made in support of the county’s cadet associations, the Vibrant Village competition, and the Catalogue of Paintings in Public Ownership, which is about to be published.
