The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire
The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire, registered in 2007 as a company limited by guarantee, is unique in the UK. Its origins emanate from the former Lord-Lieutenant’s idea that the county would benefit from the efforts, thoughts and influences of an association of members, committed to upholding the traditions and history of Gloucestershire, ensuring that the county’s achievements in innovation, creativity and excellence are widely recognised and celebrated.
Based on a livery company, with Warden, Assistant Warden, Junior Warden and Clerk and run by a Court of up to 14 directors, the company maintains a maximum of 120 members.
